The School of Ministry at Heavenly Vision Church
PUPOSE The purpose of the School of Ministry is to properly prepare the minister for the gospel ministry prior to preaching in the pulpit or undertaking ministry assignments. This educational venue should not be viewed as an alternative to seminary or more formal education, however it should serve as a sufficient preface and precursor to the ministry to which the minister has been called. The School of Ministry exist to ENLIGHTEN the minister to the gospel ministry, EQUIP them to employ good methods and EMPOWER them to perform with excellence.
PROCESS With the goal of maximum retention and superior execution at the center of the School of Ministry, a unique two phase process has been developed to span across a six month period. Phase one will be a seventeen (17) week intensive which will include seventeen (17) subject based lecture/exercise class settings that will include written assignments and exams. The second phase will comprise four (4) pre-licensing workshops which will include a final presentation from each student and the culmination ceremony. Classes and workshops will take place on the camps of Heavenly Vision Church located at 243 West 85th Street, Los Angeles, CA 90003. Classes will primarily take place on Thursdays from 7:00pm -8:45pm.
PROFESSOR Bishop James Ray Taylor will be the primary instructor for the School of Ministry and his credentials are as followed;

Note: Should there be an instructor change for any class, students will be notified the week prior.
Applications will be accepted starting August 11th. Admission decisions will be issued by September 24th. Orientation will be in September. Classes will begin in October on Thursday evenings
