Purpose In Your Heart

The Purpose of Our Heart
Week 2 - Acts 5:1-11
This is a text that will arrest our conscious and cause us to consider the purposes of our heart. The church had unity of heart that was based on the gospel. The unity is based by their commonality.

COMMONALITY PRINCIPALITIES:

❤️ All that we have is from God and if we are in God together, then we have no need.

❤️ When we engage in conspiracy, it disqualifies us from unity.

❤️ Our present benevolence must be fortified by a previous resolve.

❤️ Accountability is our greatest offense from
living in falsehood.

❤️ Confrontation affords us the opportunity to be released from our failures.

❤️ When respect and reverence enters context it creates a space for the miraculous.

Acts 4:32-37
Barnabas gives extravagantly. Folks are inspired to do the same as Barnabas. However, when the energy began to wear off they were faced with the reality of the wealth transfer. This caused them to stray from the principal of commonality and began to look at conspiracy. They went from commonality to conspiracy. Conspiracy is when you create a plan that does not include or bear in mind others.

Barnabas did not live from his wealth, he lived from the wealth of God. Don’t give or commit to God that you don’t have faith to believe Him with. What Barnabas gave was all his faith could afford. Before you give, make sure you have enough faith to fortify your step. You need to have accountability. That’s the only way to have offense against falsehood.
