Heavenly Vision Church: A Life Application Ministry is the evolution of the vision given to Dr. Joseph Lee Jr when he founded Heavenly Vision Missionary Baptist Church in 1953. With over 70+ years of service in the Kingdom of God, our mission to Reach Save Strengthen and Mature serves as the cornerstones of our fellowship. We Reach through the love of God, Save through the blood of Christ, Strengthen through the word of God, and Mature through the Holy Spirit. As a bible based fellowship we serve by withholding the biblical mandates of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We are diverse body of believers and welcome all to come and worship the Lord with us.
Our Pastor & First Lady
Pastor DeMarcus L. Johnson is the esteemed Lead Pastor of Heavenly Vision Church: A Life Application Ministry. Born and raised in the charming town of Henderson, KY, Pastor DeMarcus spent his early years immersed in the warmth of a close-knit community until the age of 11, when he and his family embarked on a new journey to Los Angeles, CA.
In 2015, Pastor DeMarcus answered the divine call to ministry and was ordained as a Pastor, marking the beginning of a profound journey of faith and leadership. He is joined in this sacred mission by his devoted wife, Lady Donita, and their five wonderful children: DeMarcus, Michael, Dominic, Donovan, and Dallas. Together, they form a family deeply committed to serving the Kingdom of God.
Pastor DeMarcus is not only a shepherd to his congregation but also a mentor to young minds. His passion for nurturing the next generation extends beyond the pulpit, as he dedicates his time to coaching football, instilling values of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance in young athletes.
